Watch: YouTube Link
Instructions:
Listen carefully to the piece and answer these questions:
1. If we call the music in the first 54 seconds SECTION A, how many times do you hear SECTION A during this piece? Count the first 54 seconds as 1.
2. Let’s call the music from the 55th second to 1 minute and 21 seconds SECTION B. How is the music in SECTION B different from the music in SECTION A?
3. Let’s call the music from 2 minutes and 5 seconds to 2 minutes and 46 seconds SECTION C. Describe the left hand music in the first 30 seconds of SECTION C.
4. What kind of excellent piano techniques do you see Lang Lang using throughout the piece?
5. Look up Lang Lang on the Internet and write down 5 things that you learn about him.
Print out this theory sheet so you can write your answers in PENCIL. Then bring this to your next class for a sticker towards treasure.
